Ouachita Head Volleyball Coach Danny Prescott

Ouachita head coach Danny Prescott is in his fourth year at the helm of the volleyball program after taking over in the summer of 2004.

Ouachita has steadily improved in overall victories and conference wins under Prescott. The Tigers won 10 matches in 2004, 14 in 2005 and 16 in 2006. Last season the Tigers also earned their first winning season and conference tournament appearance since 2000. Ouachita advanced to the conference semifinals before falling to national runner-up North Alabama in a tight match on the Lions’ home floor.

The 1998 Ouachita graduate has been working with the Tiger volleyball team for 13 years. Prescott earned his Master of Science in Education from Henderson State University.

He married his wife, Amber, in August 2003. She ran cross country for Ouachita and is now the assistant cross country coach.  Their daughter, Reagan, was born in April 2006.
