Rickey finished the 2012 season as the team's second leading tackler. He recorded 71 tackles with one sack and one fumble recovery. 

Brown played in all 10 games of the 2011 seasonat linebacker, recording 27 tackles, 3.5 of which were tackles for loss, as well as three pass break ups.

In 2010,  Rickey participated in 10 games during his freshman seasonas a running back, recording a total of 238 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on 44 carries. FInished with a 5.4 yards per carry average.

Brown came to Ouachita after playing under head coach Mike Cox at Bearden High School. While at Bearden, Brown was named All-State during his Junior and Senior seasons while also being named Honorable Mention during his sophomore year. Brown was named Hooten's 2-A Offensive Player of the Year and played in the Arkansas High School Game in 2010.

Brown's hobbies and interests include hanging with friends, video games, listening to music and playing sports.
