ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -  Ouachita Tigers head men's tennis coach Craig Ward announced the signing of Juan Cruz Moncada of Resistencia, Argentina and Dan Kaplun of Montevideo, Uruguay. Moncada enters having competed in ITF, Argentine nationals and futures competitions. Kaplun was a national champion in Uruguay and was also ranked in Colombia and Bolivia. Both will compete for the Tigers beginning this fall and will look to help the Tigers reclaim the conference crown.

Thoughts from Coach Ward: "I am very excited about Juan being a Tiger. If he works hard, he has the talent to be one of our best players. As a junior, he was ranked in the top 600 in the world but had wins over some players ranked much higher. I am very excited that he will be playing for us and helping us get to the national championship."

 



Dan Kaplun

Thoughts from Coach Ward: "We are every excited Dan chose Ouachita. He has a big game and lots of international experience. Dan is also an outstanding student. I am looking forward to working with him the next four years."
